What will this cost me?

The study drug is usually paid for by the trial. The rest of your care is billed the normal way, to you or your insurer, so ask what falls where. Your time is never free: more visits, more blood tests, more scans, travel, parking, time off work, someone to watch the children.

Ask your team what the trial pays back. Travel and parking are often covered. People often do not ask, and then stop coming because the bus fare became too much. Please ask.
