protocolandpeople.org is built so that reading it tells no one anything about you.
What stays on your device
The site has no accounts. The cards you save, the cards you have read, the language you chose and the section you were reading are stored in your own browser, on your own device. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
What we count
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and does not identify you. It records which pages are visited, the site that sent the visitor, the country, and the type of device and browser, and we see those only as totals.
On the Try it page we keep a running total of answers for each statement, so we can see which cards need to be clearer. The total is a count and nothing else: no name, address, device or time is recorded with it.
Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs to run the site securely.
If you email info@protocolandpeople.org, for example to join the list of people helping us test the cards or to book a talk, we use your address only to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share it.
Videos and sharing buttons
Episode videos load from YouTube only when you press play; from then on YouTube's own privacy policy applies. The "Send on WhatsApp" button opens WhatsApp with a link to the card, and nothing is sent to us.
Children
The site is written for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Email info@protocolandpeople.org. If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with its date.
