These terms cover the website protocolandpeople.org and everything on it, including Cards on the Table, the books, the Taking Notes planner, the games and the clinic kit.

Educational use only

Everything on this site is general education about cancer and clinical trials. It is not medical advice, it does not create a doctor-patient relationship, and it does not describe any person's own diagnosis or treatment. Decisions about your care belong with your own care team.

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number, or the day-and-night number your care team gave you.

Sharing the cards

You are welcome to link to any page, share cards with the people in your life, and print the cards, books, planner and clinic kit for personal use or for free use with patients, families, clinic teams and support groups, as long as the material is not changed and the credit "Cards on the Table, Protocol & People" and the address protocolandpeople.org stay on it.

To reprint in quantity, sell, translate, adapt, or include the material in another product or publication, email info@protocolandpeople.org first.

Accuracy

The cards are written by physicians and checked against patient information from the US National Cancer Institute and Cancer Research UK. Medicine changes, and we correct errors when we find them or when readers report them. How the cards are written and checked is set out in the editorial policy.

Links to YouTube, Substack, social media and other sites are provided for convenience. Those sites have their own terms.
