My cancer is stable. Is that good?

Stable means it has not grown and it has not shrunk. On a scan it looks about the same as last time.

For many people that is good news, because holding still can mean the treatment is doing its job. Ask your team whether stable is what you were hoping for in your situation, because the answer is not the same for everyone.
