What does no evidence of disease mean?

It means that with the tests we have, we cannot find any cancer. It is very good news. It is a statement about what our tests can see, not a promise about every cell in your body.

This is why follow-up carries on after good news, and why we are careful with the word cured. Ask how often you will be checked, and what would bring you back sooner.
