I finished treatment. How do I know it’s all gone for good?

Nobody can tell you that on the day you finish. What your team can do is keep checking: seeing you, examining you, blood tests, and scans when they are needed.

If nothing shows up you may hear the words no evidence of disease, or complete remission. Follow-up still matters, because some cancers do come back. Ask how often you will be seen and for how long.
