What happens if the treatment isn’t working?

Your team watches closely: scans, blood tests and appointments. If the treatment is not helping, or the side effects are more than you can live with, they will talk through what else there is.

Leaving a treatment that is not helping you is part of how good cancer care works, and your team should raise it with you before you have to.
